Pages and content
The number of pages, amount of writing, photographs, product information and regulated content all affect the work.
Transparent website pricing
There is no honest single price for every website. This guide explains what changes the cost, what SiteFitted charges for defined services and which expenses may continue after launch.
What changes the price
Two websites can have the same page count and require very different planning, data, integrations, testing and support.
The number of pages, amount of writing, photographs, product information and regulated content all affect the work.
Fitting an established design is more predictable than researching and creating a bespoke direction from a blank page.
Products, variations, tax, delivery, payment, returns and order emails make an online shop more complex than an information site.
Bookings, quotations, customer portals, staff roles, documents and dashboards need planning beyond the public pages.
Payment providers, email systems, existing databases and third-party services require secure integration and testing.
Hosting, monitoring, backups, content changes and technical support should be separated clearly from the initial build.
Published SiteFitted prices
These figures are SiteFitted's current published prices, not invented UK market averages. A quotation is used where the work cannot be responsibly standardised.
Five pages, wording, fitting, responsive layouts, search foundations and two revisions.
A new page added after the initial package, using the established design system.
A defined change such as an address, opening time or contact detail.
Suitable supplied images resized and placed within the existing design.
A small defined content change on an established compatible page.
One new section within an existing compatible page.
One further organised round after the two included package revisions.
Hosting, backups, monitoring, platform updates and technical recovery support.
The established premium showroom design for up to six products using suitable customer-supplied media.
A tailored enquiry, booking, quotation, payment and private administration journey.
A private dashboard and business modules planned around the existing website, tracking requirements and owner workflow.
A written scope based on the current website, pages, content, products and required functionality.
One-off and ongoing
Building or redesigning the website is one piece of work. Domain registration, business email, hosting, third-party subscriptions and payment processing can renew separately. Ask who owns each account, when it renews and whether support is optional before agreeing to any website service.
Before requesting a quote
A short but specific brief helps avoid a vague figure that changes later.
A more expensive website is not automatically a more successful one. The right scope is the smallest responsible solution that presents the business clearly, makes the next action easy and gives the owner the information needed to improve it.
Pricing questions
Clear ownership, scope and continuing costs matter as much as the headline figure.
